Your Customer is King

Last week I read in Michael Gerber's landmark book 'The E-Myth Revisited', that understanding your customer is vital to the success of any small business. For a small business on the internet, however, understanding your target customer, 'is not life or death, it's much, much more important than that' - as Bill Shankley famously said.

If you don't understand your target customer your internet business will die, or worse still suffer a slow, painful and expensive demise. If you do though, you could follow in the footsteps E-Bay, YouTube, Amazon or any of the amazing companies who have embraced target marketing and the Internet.
